Introduction

Al Arabi Creative Solutions is a 1992-founded creative agency and advertising firm. Based in Palestine, we have worked with both national and global brands over the years, creating a strong local presence and achieving an impressive global reach. We established Al Arabi with the vision of leading the advertising and media market in Palestine and expanding beyond our locality. Over the years, we have successfully met the promotional and advertising needs of various domestic and international clients, thanks to the creativity and innovation we bring to the table.

Our Story

In 1984, we opened our first photography and videography studio in Hebron, which would soon become the foundation of our creative journey. We nurtured our passion for the craft by expanding into Bethlehem and Ramallah—not only to amplify our presence there but also to connect with their cherished community. At that time, we owned printing labs for printing photos and image augmentation, as we were dedicated to quality and precision from our early days. These labs were equipped with the best and most current machinery from the Japanese company Noritsu that we had a special business relationship with through the Kodak company. We valued our business relationships for the inspiring bonds that they were, especially that they allowed us to actualize our clients’ visions and connect with audiences in meaningful ways. It was during that time and in the lead-up to it that our dream of producing billboards bloomed and became our central focus. It began by watching Egyptian movies and observing billboards in Jerusalem, Jaffa, and Haifa. Their vibrant colors and striking presence were eye-catching, inspiring us to deliver such engaging and heartening signs. This dream was not only ours but for all clients that wished to have their messages communicated in such a grand way. The dream became a reality in 1991, as we began creating and producing billboards in cities and on main roads. But right from the start, we faced a few challenges, including the industry’s unavailability within the Palestinian medium and the high costs for local companies seeking our services. Regardless of how frustrating it was at the start, we were determined to push through and seek a solution for every challenge. We wanted to lead the market with captivating and memorable billboards. We received a gift from a friend in 1992 that marked a turning point for our trajectory of growth; it was a digital camera with a wide range of impressive features and tech. Equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery, it offered high resolution and precision, the ability to print images on any type of paper, and the option to store images on a computer. This gift, though small, made big shifts in how we moved forward with our work. It shaped our path and opened up new horizons for us, as the development of such technologies challenged our work within photography, videography, and printing. This ignited our passion to advance our profession in the advertising field, which required a thorough study of the market and marketing industry. From that point onward, our efforts took off, reaching new levels of professionalism, knowledge, and management. Following the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993, the commercial and economic prospects for Palestinian companies expanded, enabling growth in ways previously inaccessible. Despite challenging circumstances, direct importation and internal trade also increased. These positive turns created much hope for the future, encouraging us to stay goal-oriented and forward-thinking. During that phase, we have felt more empowered than before as we further immersed ourselves in the field of advertising. We established Al Arabic Creative Solutions as the first Palestinian company to produce billboards across different Palestinian cities in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
